Ladies and Gentlemen,

As one from business family Wuppermann, who is engaged in steel processing and finishing since 1871, early in life I learned to go for something, to venture  and to create. After a solid education at RWTH Aachen university with several academic qualifications I have 28 years of production experience in the steel industry worldwide. I gained 5 ½ years of experience in leadership and management of a steel society and of R & D institutions in Germany and Europe as well.

For 14 years I have been teaching at the RWTH Aachen and I am engaged in relevant committees at the university and other institutions.

At my age, it is too early to devote myself only to private and sporting activities. Therefore, since 2010 I work as an independent consultant engineer. In various activities I bring in my many years of technical economic experience of production and management in large companies and the society of the steel industry in the broadest sense, but also of the supervisory bodies of a medium sized family business for over 40 years, since almost 15 years as the Vice Chairman.
